Contract or full-time permanent, Oceania Marine is a leading marine business located in Whangārei and has just upgraded capacity at its Shipyards with a new 560T travel lift. The local lifestyle and cost of living is very attractive. We are looking to hire experienced boat builders for immediate start. Must have experience in all types of materials and construction, be self-motivated and customer-focused.

We work on a variety of commercial and recreational vessels from commercial ferries and fishing vessels to pleasure craft, sailboats and superyachts up to 60M LOA.

These roles are focused around the refitting and maintenance of marine vessels including composite, wooden, aluminium and steel hulled boats.

Qualities we are looking for in candidates are:

• Experience in a variety of boat building skill areas
• Reliability & punctuality,
• Great communication skills, whether you’re working alone or as part of a team,
• A strong work ethic and can-do attitude,
• Full NZ Drivers Licence.
