Position Description
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with our family of B2B customers such as boat builders, tradies, professional skippers and boat owners in a friendly and timely manner
- Supporting our busy on-the-road sales team
- Managing showroom and telephone sales
- Stock management and warehousing
- Working with the regional sales manager to ensure the showroom is maintained to a high standard
- General facilities management of the branch
- Travelling and attending boat shows may be required
About You:
You have marine shop floor sales experience and ready to step in to your next role while learning all the tricks of the trade with the potential of becoming an Internal Account Manager.
- Passionate about fishing, diving, water sports and the marine industry
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good personal presentation
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Retentive memory and the ability to learn quickly
- Good work ethic, self-motivated and a team player
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience using POS software (desirable)
- Knowledge of boating & fishing (essential)
- Technical, mechanical or electrical product knowledge would be an advantage
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
