Our products are trusted across commercial fishing, superyacht, marine survey, defence and scientific sectors globally. As we enter an exciting growth phase expanding from our established B2B channel business we’re looking for a commercially-driven Vice President to lead that charge. We have an established global distribution network and are now actively expanding into direct market channels - making this an exceptional time to join the business at a senior leadership level.
The Role
As Vice President, you will be the commercial engine of WASSP Multibeam International. You’ll lead a cross-functional team spanning R&D, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, with full accountability for revenue growth and end-to-end business performance in international markets.
This is not a traditional sales leadership role. You will be equally at home challenging an R&D roadmap with market evidence as you are building distributor relationships or coaching a regional sales manager. You will be the person who ensures what WASSP builds is what the market actually needs - and that it gets sold effectively once it is built.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Driving international revenue growth across both established B2B channel markets and new B2C direct opportunities in survey, defence and science sectors
• Championing a market-driven approach to product development ensuring all new product decisions are grounded in customer research, field intelligence and competitive analysis, not internal assumptions
• Acting as the commercial interface with R&D, translating validated market needs into clear product briefs and holding the pipeline to delivery timelines
• Aligning Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing around shared commercial outcomes and on-time execution
• Building and maintaining a systematic feedback loop between the field sales team and product planning
• Leading and developing a high-performing international team including Regional Sales Managers across EMEA, Americas and SEA
• Maintaining an active market presence through engagement, key account relationships, distributor partnerships and industry networks
What We’re Looking For
• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, ideally in a technology, marine, defence or industrial B2B/B2C environment
• A track record of driving revenue growth in international markets
• Strong ability to lead and align teams with very different professional mindsets - engineers, salespeople and marketers around shared goals
• Experience embedding market and customer validation into product development processes
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
