We are a well‑established, 70‑year‑old company and a market leader in marine and protective coatings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated, self‑managed Technical Sales Representative to cover the South Island.

This role is ideally suited to a person with technical or applicator experience who understands site conditions, specifications, and contractors. You’ll manage your own territory while working within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and grow an established South Island customer base

•Develop new business within the commercial marine sector

•Provide practical, technical advice on marine and protective coating systems

•Plan and manage your own travel and sales activity

•Build strong, long‑term customer relationships

•Maintain sales reports, pipeline, and forecasts

About You

•Highly self‑motivated and self‑managed

•Sound understanding of marine or industrial coatings

•Confident communicator who relates well to contractors and decision‑makers

•Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

•Full, clean NZ driver’s licence

•Willing to travel throughout the South Island and the North Island when required

•Proficient computer skills

•Preferred location: Nelson‑based
