Position Description
Based at our front desk, the job will entail general marketing and social media marketing as well as business administration aspects and greeting walk in customers to our office showroom.
This job is all about agility and doing lots of different jobs, but here are some of the main tasks:
Marketing prospective:
· Marketing the company, preowned and new boats including social media, growing sales and enrolment
· Social media content generation and promotion across Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, Mail Chimp and Twitter
· Event planning and organisation to grow awareness of the brand
· Experience with video making/editing and YouTube is a plus
· Updating boat listing details online and in office window displays
Administration prospective:
· Answer phone calls and walk in inquiries with a professional manner
· General administration, client database, yacht database, invoice generation etc
· You will be working closely with the Owner/Director, assisting with the day to day running of the business.
Our ideal candidate would be a marketing graduate who is passionate about boating and the marine industry, be highly organised, efficient, flexible as well as initiative with good attention to detail.
A marketing qualification or previous experience in a marketing and administration role is an advantage for this position, along with outstanding customer service and communication skills. Existing knowledge of boats/yachts is desirable, but not essential.
You will be part of a small team where you are valued, appreciated and recognised.

· Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask
· Good time management skills with attention to detail
· Experience using a wide range of Microsoft products and various computer applications
· Excellent written and verbal English language skills
· Ability to handle high pressure situations while remaining calm and positive
· Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
This position is initially for 20 – 30 hours per week, expecting to transform into 40 hours as the business grows. However may offer immediate full time position to the correct candidate. Normal office opening hours are…
· Monday to Friday 7 hours (9am – 5pm with an hour lunch break)
· Saturday 5 hours (10am – 4pm with an hour lunch break)
$22 - $25 per hour depending on experience
Work Type: Part Time with possibility to change to Full Time 40 hour week in the future. May offer immediate full time position to the
correct candidate.
