About the role Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders is seeking an experienced and qualified Head Marine Painter to lead our paint department. Based in our purpose-built facility in East Tamaki, you’ll take the reins on high-end custom boat projects, ensuring flawless finishes and mentoring a dedicated team.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and mentoring apprentice painters
• Prepping, fairing, and painting new builds and refits
• Collaborating with other departments to meet project timelines
• Upholding high standards of health and safety

What we’re looking for

• Qualified marine painter or extensive marine painting experience (NZ experience preferred)
• Skilled in a wide range of painting systems and techniques
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
