Well known, high quality boat manufacturers Surtees Boats are growing and looking for a star sales and marketing assistant to join their team based in Mount Maunganui.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about boating and fishing, have a great attitude towards customers and bring that passion across. A can-do attitude is important and someone who is keen to get hands-on is a must.

Key tasks include:

• Help with sales- quoting, updating CRM, sea trials
• Washing boats and maintaining the yard
• Create social media posts
• Help with forecasting stock for sales
• Help out with trips and travel for delivering boats
• Managing the sales yard on Saturdays
• Take over accessories sales at the Tauranga yard
• Come up with fresh ideas
• Keep an eye on the competition
• Help with Dealer Support Material
• Boat Show and Fishing Competition presence
• Help and Support with all other day to day tasks and running of Tauranga shop

About you:

• 1-2 years sales and marketing experience in a support or assistant role
• Basic Artwork and Design skills in InDesign and Photoshop to help in creating collateral and social media posts
• Social Media knowledge to help manage social accounts and manage website
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Full, clean drivers license
