Team Leader - Boat Builder

– Aluminium and Composite

Come join our growing team meeting the needs of the commercial
and recreational sectors of the marine industry in New Zealand. We require Team Leaders or experienced Tradesman looking for a new challenge for our Aluminium and Composite new build projects and our service / refit programs.

Functions and Responsibilities

· On the job team management and leadership

· Work with supervisor to achieve targets and budgets

· Aluminium and/or Composite Fabrication

· Complete tasks in accordance with company procedures

· Meet health and safety obligations in the workplace

Applicants should:

· Have a good understanding of Aluminium and/or Composite boat construction.

· Be self-motivated and have a high standard of workmanship.

· Work well in a team environment.

· Be competent in studying plans and specifications.

· Have good communication skills in both spoken and written English.

· Have a NZQA Level 4 qualification or equivalent in Aluminium and/or Composite Boat
building, or minimum 5 to 10 years relevant work experience.

· Currently reside in New Zealand and have NZ citizenship, residency, or a valid NZ work visa.

McMullen and Wing is an established Auckland shipyard with extensive experience in commercial, recreational and luxury new vessel build and refit projects.

· Located in Mt Wellington, close to Sylvia Park Mall.

· Energetic team with strong customer focus.
