We are looking for a Travelift/Machinery Operator to join our busy Boatyard team in the Bay of Islands. This is a hands-on role and suits a fit, honest & reliable person.

The ideal candidate will have good all round practical skills with a can-do attitude. You must have an affinity with boating, be energetic, self-motivated and physically fit with excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working in the marine industry would be an advantage but not essential.

Training will be provided to ensure you can operate our onsite 50 tonne travel lift, 60 tonne Roodberg trailer and telehandler. The role includes maintaining
equipment, yard cleaning, and water blasting boats.

Boating knowledge, operation of heavy machinery or fork lift skills would be an advantage but is not essential. Ideally you will have operated heavy
machinery such as earth moving equipment.

This is a permanent full time position for the right person.
