• Oceania Marine is a leading marine business located in Whangarei and is about to commission new upgraded capacity at its shipyards. The local lifestyle and cost of living is very attractive. We are looking to hire painters for immediate start. Good automotive and industrial painters will be considered.

We work on a variety of commercial and recreational vessels from commercial ferries and fishing vessels to pleasure craft, sailboats and superyachts.

These roles are focused around painting and blasting of marine vessels including the application of protective and decorative coatings and reapplications.

Qualities we are looking for in candidates are:
Experience in Marine Painting or Sandblasting/Industrial Painting,

• Reliability & punctuality,
• Great communication skills, whether you’re working alone or as part of a team,
• A strong work ethic and can-do attitude. Applicants should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa and a full NZ Drivers Licence.
