Sales Coordinator - VMG

VMG, a division of Global Velocity Group Ltd (GVG Ltd), is a recognised
leader within the marine apparel industry. VMG designs, manufactures, and sells uniforms to superyachts across the globe as well as many New Zealand corporates and marine related businesses. We produce high-quality, cutting-edge technical clothing and are proud to be 100% Kiwi owned and operated.

An exciting opportunity is available for an energetic all-rounder to join the VMG team as a Sales Coordinator. You will be integral in delivering an exceptional experience to our customer base. Reporting to the VMG General Manager and supporting our NZ and offshore sales team, this role will suit someone who is looking to build a career in sales alongside a professional team of talented people.

The scope of the role is broad and will include:

· Supporting the VMG General Manager & Brand Ambassador.

· Producing various sales and forecasting reports (weekly & monthly) as required

· Supporting the sales team as required

· Liaising with local suppliers (embroiderers and manufacturers) to ensure continuity of quality in our product when required

· Communicating with customers via phone, email and social media to maximise the customer experience

· Supporting logistics when required

Key skills and attributes required for this role include:

· Experience from within the marine or superyacht industry preferred but not essential

· Experience in sales or customer service roles

· Apparel experience would be an advantage but not essential

· Possess an energetic and positive attitude with the ability to think on your feet

· Superb communication skills

· A commitment to building fantastic relationships both internally and with our global customers
