Motor Yacht Service Centre is a unique, full spectrum, service centre for
Luxury Motor Yachts based in Hobsonville, Auckland.

We create custom and bespoke additions to our owners’ boats, like none of our competitors. From boatbuilding to complex electronics installations, we do it all.

We also go the extra mile for our customers, if that means we need to wash the linen, we’ll do it. You’ll need to have the same mind-set.

The Luxury Motor Yachts in our fleet are works of arts, are a significant asset
to their respective owners and only perfection in workmanship will be
sufficient.

Luxury Motor Yacht Detailer

Don’t have experience in detailing? No problem! We’re looking for the right person above all else! Full training will be provided.

If you’re looking for a change in career or looking to take your detailing career to the next level – we’re looking to create a new division within our company that brings all our valet work in-house.

Working for Motor Yacht Service Centre, you will be fortunate enough to work onboard the most luxurious boats in Auckland, including Maritimo, Riviera, Azimut, Ferretti and Grand Banks, to name just a few. These are clean white boats, and it will be your job to make them shine!

If you’re the right person, your career progression will happen quickly with us, with a view to be in charge of an expanding team and helping us employ and train those who we bring on-board.

We’re looking for someone who has:

1. An eye for detail
2. Common sense and initiative
3. A clean appearance and be able to do physical work
4. Is motivated and happy to work in a team as well as on your own
5. Has a current, clean driver licence
6. Be able to complete a criminal background check
7. Love boats and being outside

What’s involved:

1. Exterior Cut and Polishing
2. Soapy Washes
3. Stainless Steel Polishing
4. Teak Cleaning
5. Interior Detailing (Generally, highly glossy surfaces that aren’t dirty – they just need buffing)
6. Managing your team and completing quality control

You’ll have access to a company vehicle if you need it and all equipment will be supplied.

The right candidate will earn well above market rate and will get Christmas & New Year off every year! We also have regular social gatherings with drinks
supplied by the company and the occasional day off fishing aboard M/Y
Matariki.
