Beacon Marine is expanding and we are looking for an experienced marine electrical technician / Auto Electrician / Registered Industrial Electrician to join our team.

We are suppliers and service agents for leading brands within the industry such as Czone, Mastervolt, B&G, Simrad, Raymarine, Fusion, Hella Marine and more.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following sectors,

Using power tools (Drills, Multi tools, Jigsaws etc)
DC Electrical fault finding
Battery / charging system diagnostics and testing
Engine control system diagnostics / repairs
Alternator / starter motor diagnostics and repairs
CAN, NMEA2000, NMEA0183, Ethernet diagnostics and installation

If you are a registered electrician this role will also include install and maintenance work of low and high voltage systems as well.

This role is based out of Westhaven Marina in Auckland but you will be required to travel to other marinas around the greater Auckland region and sometimes outside of Auckland including overseas.

You will be responsible for Installing, servicing, maintaining electrical systems onboard our clients' boats
