The marine industry in Whangarei is humming and we are currently expanding and looking to take on an additional marine diesel mechanic.

As Whangarei's authorised dealer for Volvo Penta and Yanmar marine products, we sell and install new engines, and also service and repair a wide range of mechanical marine equipment.

The person we are looking for will need to be trade qualified. Prior experience with either Volvo Penta or Yanmar marine engines is preferred as is
experience with Volvo and/or Mercury stern legs and sail drives.

All of our staff deal directly with customers, so you must be a tidy worker, be presentable and have good communication skills. You will be based at our workshop in central Whangarei but spend a high percentage of time out on-site, working from one of our service vans. You will need the ability to trace faults and come up with solutions in the field.
